Sports medicine has always been a passion of mine. Having been a keen sportswoman myself, it was an easy decision to choose a career in sport and rehabilitation. My practice in Durban North of 15 years has allowed me to enjoy working with both the elite sportsmen and the general public.
My work with several national and international sports teams has inspired me to create a facility in Durban, KZN, South Africa, that is much needed to address the requirements of our elite athletes as well as provide a fantastic rehabilitation facility for my patients. On Track, Centre for Sports Excellence is a multi-disciplinary approach that is essential to manage the whole patient and all aspects of their rehabilitation.
We are already making strides in sports development by assisting the KZN academy of Sports and look forward to creating sports stars of the future. I encourage individuals to allow us to assist them in living a healthy and productive lifestyle whether at the work place or at home.
